New leads for the Volhynian lines found in open databases. The expropriation list of German land in Pulin volost (Volhynian Governorate Gazette, 02.06.1916) names Dreger Christian August (12 dessiatins) — documentary evidence of the Dreger line in Pulin volost. The 1913 register of landowners of Volhynia Governorate (Novograd-Volynsk uyezd) lists Schulz Pawel (54 dess.) and Schulz Julius (85 dess.). According to GAMEO, the Kroeker surname was first recorded in Tiegenhagen (West Prussia) in 1627; the Mennonite colony of Karolswalde in Volhynia emigrated almost entirely to Kansas in 1874–1875, so the Kroekers of the Pulin district most likely belonged to the Lutheran Volhynian Germans. For the uncles Heinrich (Bogoslovlag) and Friedrich (Bakalstroy) Schulz the "Electronic Memorial Book of Russian Germans" (gedenkbuch.rusdeutsch.ru) was found — checking continues.

Mother — Emma Gottliebovna (née Schulz). Mother's brothers — Heinrich and Friedrich Gottliebovich Schulz.
